Coach Brett Wall started playing youth hockey for the Dayton Bombers. While playing youth hockey, the Indianapolis Checker AAA program showed interest in Wall and joined the team for two strong seasons. His time in Indianapolis earned him a scholarship to Lake Forest Academy where he played on the Prep/U-18 AAA team. Wall played one year of Junior A hockey for the Alexandria Blizzard in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) where he received a scholarship at Lake Superior State University playing hockey while pursuing his Sports Management degree with minors in Business and Sports Marketing. After graduation, Wall started his professional career and played three years between the Southern Professional Hockey League and the Federal Hockey League.
Ryan grew up in Detroit, MI playing for Belle Tire AAA and the Soo Hawks AAA programs. He played Junior Hockey with the Soo Indians (NAHL) and the Bismarck Bobcats (AWHL). Then, Ryan attended Nichols College (Dudley, MA/NCAA D-III) where he was voted most valuable player and selected to the ECAC Northeast Division III-Rookie Team his freshman year. Ryan re-located to South Florida and became the Goalie Coach/Assistant Coach of the USPHL Elite and Empire Teams and also ran his own goalie clinics. During the 2017-2018 season, Ryan was the Goalie Coach/Assistant Coach for the Long Beach Sharks (NA3HL). Ryan has a strong passion for the game and developing young athletes into elite players. Ryan is also currently a lead instructor with MEGA goaltending.
Jim Mitchell grew up in Detroit, MI playing AAA hockey for Little Caesars and Compuware. As a 15 yr old, he played in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) for the Detroit Junior Wings and went on to play two years of Junior A hockey with the Waterloo Blackhawks of the United States Hockey League (USHL). His time in the USHL earned him a scholarship to Kent State University playing in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) until the university dropped their hockey team. Jim then transferred to Ferris State University where he completed his college hockey career. He began coaching youth hockey while he was playing Juniors and in college. Since then, Jim has coached a variety of youth teams in Michigan and Southwest Ohio.
Andrew Tufto has been involved in Junior Hockey for over 9 years as a player and a coach. Prior to joining the Havoc staff, Andrew coached for the Arizona Hawks (WSHL), and Forest Lake Lakers (MNJHL). Andrew has also coached several years at the youth hockey level and is a USA Hockey Level 4 certified coach. Growing up in Minnesota, Andrew played high school hockey at Holy Family in Victoria, MN. After graduation, he went on to play two years of Junior Hockey in the WSHL and the MNJHL. Andrew is looking forward to be able to continue his career in Junior A Hockey with the Hudson Havoc organization.
