Jim brings over a decade of coaching experience to the game, including 11 years dedicated to high school hockey. For the past 8 years, he has been proud to coach at Centennial High School, where he helped develop student-athletes both on and off the ice. Jim is coming off last season having assisted Russ Barone at the Blue Ox USPHL team. Jim played his high school hockey at Anoka High School. He, then had the opportunity to continue playing NCAA college hockey at Minnesota State University. After a successful 36-year career in the corporate world, Jim was able to retire early and transition into a more passion-driven chapter of his life. Drawing on a lifelong love of hockey, he now dedicates much of his time to coaching high school and junior hockey players. With a focus on skill development, mentorship, and character building, Jim is committed to helping young athletes reach their full potential both on and off the ice. Jim resides in Lino Lakes, MN, with his wife, Andi. He played collegiate hockey at the NCAA level while earning a degree in Exercise Physiology from Gustavus Adolphus College and is also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.
